It’s easy to get distracted by the mediocre things in life and miss out on the best. Our study of Hebrews will lead us to discover that, compared to (fill in the blank), Jesus is better.
Jesus knows what it’s like to walk in our shoes because He’s already done it. In His humanity, Jesus is a trustworthy champion for us as we face life’s hardships.
Being in community with other believers, with Jesus as our leader, makes our faith stronger and our hearts softer toward God.
Our idea of “rest” is typically limited to lounging, napping, or otherwise taking it easy. But the “rest” God provides is much bigger - and far better.
The writer of Hebrews calls Jesus the "Great High Priest." By following His example, we can experience a radically different and deeper relationship with God.
Living "on the edge" sounds like a thrill. But what if you're living on the wrong edge?
Jesus Is the Better Representative
What is it about Jesus that makes Him the perfect high priest, and why is He worth giving my life to?
Do you have zero tolerance when other people mess up, but expect an abundance of understanding when you’re the messy one? This passage reveals God’s level of tolerance toward our sin and our inadequate attempts to camouflage it.
Trivial pursuits aren’t a game - they can keep us from fully pursuing Jesus. Are your other “commitments” really more important than Him?

The distractions of life can cause us to shift our focus from Jesus to trivial things that have no lasting value. Fix your eyes on Jesus and discover something better.
